Rules and Regulations at Residence

We invite our customers to read our rules and regulations (the Rules) in order to facilitate a pleasant stay for yourself and others at the residence LE TERRAZZE (the Residence).

RECEPTION HOURS

Our Reception will be open during the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00
  • Saturday from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00
  • Sunday from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00
  • Our Reception will be open from 9:00 to 17:00 only during the month of August.
  • The reception is closed during the night.

YOUR STAY

  • The reservation will only be confirmed once a minimum confirmation deposit of 30% has been paid no later than 10 days from your receipt of the reservation contract. If the confirmation deposit is not paid within above period, the reservation is automatically cancelled without us prompting or notifying the customer.
  • The apartment will be assigned according to availability at the time of booking; we will attempt to satisfy preferences as far as practical. The request of a particular apartment (number, floor, orientation etc.) will be considered at the time of booking, but the Management, if necessary, reserves the right to replace the agreed apartment with one having similar characteristics and services.
  • Authorised staff from the Residence may enter apartments for repairs or maintenance even in your absence.

ARRIVALS, DEPARTURES, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

The apartment is guaranteed from 15:00 on the day of arrival.

  • Our customers are welcome to arrive earlier at the Residence on the same day (only during the opening hours of the reception) and wait in the shadow of our veranda.
  • Should the customer not arrive by 17:00 on the first day of booking, the customer must inform the residence staff in advance.
  • Discounts or refunds to booking fees will not be provided to customers whom, for their own personal reasons, arrive before or after the agreed booking date.
  • Those customers that do not occupy the apartment that they have booked within the second day of their booking, will automatically loose any right to stay at the Residence and penalties will be applied.

CHECK-IN

  • Ensure you present a valid identity document for all persons staying at the Residence.
  • You are required to pay a holding fee of € 100, either cash, or with prior authorisation on debit or credit card to cover any losses.
  • Pay all remaining booking fees which must be paid upon arrival by cash, cheque, credit or debit card.

CHECK-OUT

  • The accommodation must be freed by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
  • Customers must return the keys to the reception staff.
  • Customers must return beach deck chairs and sun umbrellas (those that have used the service).
  • Ensure you leave the apartment during the reception opening hours to allow our staff to check that the apartment has been left in good order.
  • Your € 100 holding fee will be returned to you if there the apartment is left in good order.
  • Should you wish to leave the apartment out of reception hours, you must agree this in advance with our staff the previous day to your departure.

CANCELLATION FEES

  • The 30% deposit will not be returned to customers in case of cancellation of the booking or early departure.
  • Customers who decide to leave the apartment in advance of the final day of booking are required to pay for the remaining days of their booking pursuant to art. 1385-1386 of the cc.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Management of the Residence is relieved of any responsibility for losses of personal property, valuable goods or money that is left or stored in the apartment.
  • All apartments are equipped with a safe storage; the Management declines any responsibility for improper use.

RULES

  • It is mandatory to respect the periods of rest that most of our customers request; these are from 13:00 to 15:30 and from 23:00 at 8:00 on the next day.
  • During rest time it is forbidden to make harassment noises, keep the TV volume too high, or disturb those who want to rest.
  • Parents must ensure that their children are respectful of the above rest times.
  • Customers are required to comply with the Rules and commit to returning the assigned apartment in the same state and order it was delivered to them at check-in.
  • It is absolutely forbidden move the furniture from their location inside the apartment.
  • The Residence reserves the right to contact the customer even after their departure should damages or losses to the apartment facilities be identified; the customer accepts that it is mandatory to report damages or losses.
  • Smoking is absolutely forbidden on the premises of the Residence; observance of this simple rule arises from the need to protect our customers who do not smoke and who will be residing at the Residence at a later date - it is also a fire prevention measure.
  • It is absolutely forbidden to dispose of waste of all kinds outside the dedicated areas located under the porch.
  • Adherence to waste recycling is mandatory for all our customers.

OCCUPANCY OF APARTMENTS AND GUESTS

  • Prices are provided for each apartment, in accordance with the number of beds indicated at the time of booking.
  • Upon arrival, should the customer attempt to check-in more people that the number indicated at the time of booking (including children of any age), the Management reserves the right to cancel the booking immediately. The customer will lose the right to stay at the Residence and to any refund of the deposit fee.
  • Relatives, friends and visitors can access the Residence only after authorisation from the Management.
  • Relatives, friends and visitors are not permitted to stay overnight in the apartments.

PETS

  • Pets and small animals (max 10 kg) are welcome to the Residence but must reside with their owner at all times.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning after their pets and for any damage caused by their pets.
  • Upon arrival, the Management reserves the right to request proof of all mandatory vaccinations for their pets as well as proof of third party insurance for the pets.

PARKING SPACES

  • Only one parking space is guaranteed for each apartment.
  • Customers are recommended to park within the assigned spaces and to not obstruct any passage.
  • We decline any liability for any damage caused to cars in the parking spaces.
  • Customers who intend to stay at the beach and leave later in the day after they have checked out, must vacate their allocated parking space for new arrivals.

EXTRA SERVICES

The following should be considered as extra services that are not included in your booking fee:

  • Cleaning of the apartment at check-out:
    • 3 bedroom apartment € 50,00, excluding cleaning of kitchenette
    • 2 bedroom apartment € 40,00, excluding cleaning of kitchenette
  • The apartment must be left in order, with all waste removed and left in appropriate spaces under the porch, the refrigerator emptied and dishes fully washed, as they do not fall into the above cleaning charges (a penalty charge of € 30,00 will be applied for cleaning of the kitchenette).
  • Mid-week change of bed linen - € 10 for each bed
  • Mid-week towels change - € 6 per person
  • Mid-week cleaning of the apartment - € 20,00

SERVICES INCLUDED WITH THE BOOKING

  • Covered parking space.
  • Water, electricity and gas consumption.
  • Air conditioning and heating.
  • Washing machine, oven, safe storage, satellite LED TV in each apartment.
  • One weekly bed linen set for each bed.
  • Crib and high chair (only if requested at the time of booking).
  • Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the Residence.
  • Use of iron and ironing board.
  • Use of bicycles owned by the Residence.
  • Each apartment is assigned 1 sun umbrella and 2 deck chairs so that our customers can enjoy publicly accessible beach areas located in front of the Residence (umbrella and chairs must be requested at the time of booking).

PRIVACY

  • The Residence guarantees the protection and confidentiality of our customers personal data according to current legislation.
  • Our customers can request at any time the deletion of their records from our databases by sending an email to info@leterrazzealba.com indicating “cancellation of personal data” in the subject of the email.

All customers accept the Rules, as outlined in this document, at the time of confirmation of their booking.
